Well, it is Sunday, March 01, 2020, and I am just getting ready to hit the launch button for JuKeMo.com. This will be the section that documents my cycling/weight/nutrition training for my trip to ride stages 19, 20, and 21 of the 2020 edition of the Tour de France, before the pros ride through, of course! I have to give them a chance, right?

So welcome to www.jukemo.com!

Getting in an easy ride on the Paramount. Big thanks to Bryan Johns for selling it to me.

When I began this Road to Paris, I was just coming off of a colectomy surgery, two pulmonary embolisms, and pneumonia. All of which, required difficult hospital stays in regards to recovery and pain control. I used to ride a lot in the past, and pieced together my own yearly programs, but I am in uncharted territory this time. Failure is not an option here. I am doing this ride to show anyone living with cancer or survivors of the disease, that we can still do the things we love, it just depends how bad we want it! We are still in the fight! So, to hold myself accountable and guide my training, I hired a coach! I am now a member of the https://cinchcycling.cc/ community and Tom Danielson is my coach! For those of you that don’t follow cycling, Tom is a retired Professional cyclist who rode with Faso Bartolo, Discovery Channel, and Cannon/Garmin on the UCI Tour in Europe, including many single day spring classics, and all three Grand Tours. I sent Tom a message through the CINCH cycling website and explained my situation and what my objective was for this ride. He was as enthusiastic as I was and said we are going to go all in on this! Hell Yeah!

If you get a chance, check out the website ( https://cinchcycling.cc/ . He has built up an impressive business and his program gets really good results

Just Keep Moving
